What does my Soul Say?

What does my soul say? Who are we? What does our ego comprehend, and what whispers does our soul offer us?

What does soul mean actually, another word for soul is Psyche and it stems from Greek, and means mind, spirit invisible entity that occupies the physical body.

The philosopher Kierkegaard said, I shall now try to look at myself and begin to act inwardly, for only in this way will I be able “to call myself” “I” in a profounder way.

Are we living our own lives or are we living someone else’s life, or a life in constant ambiguity to which voice we shall listen. The one we hear clearly and recognize or the one that only whispers and touches the skin in our sleep, or to the beating heart or to the message from the dream images that wake us up? These are questions that I think of. While I don’t expect a clear answer, I am driven by to find out what the dream image wishes to tell me, and where the feather strokes are directing me towards.

What is it that our soul truly desires?

It seems to be a longing for something larger, something within us calling out to a larger purpose. Do we have the courage to embrace it and move into the unknown? What would be the alternative, to remain in fear, sacrificing the opportunity to uncover what lies beyond?

In the midst of life’s second phase, many of us find ourselves pondering profound questions: Who am I beyond the roles I fulfill?

What messages does my soul say through quiet whispers, dream imagery, or the subtle language of my body?

Will these contemplations ever cease once they arise? Am I equipped to embark on this journey toward self-realization? Whom will I encounter along the way, and which parts of myself have I not yet acknowledged?

While undoubtedly daunting, am I willing to embrace the journey of self-realization, even when knowing it may entail setbacks.

“As Carl Jung said, everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.” With this insight, embracing our true selves becomes not just a journey, but a privilege.

Jungian coaching, so what is it and what does it have to do with soul work?

It is about discovering your own true direction in life. The goal of a Jungian coaching is to offer a soul-based perspective of life. Guiding clients to connect with their personal sense of meaning, purpose and feeling.

Encouraging clients to dialogue with the various layers of the unconsciousness, to improve the relationship with the ego and the Self. The Self being both the unconscious and the conscious part of the psyche.

Additionally, the goal in Jungian coaching is to give directions, the destination might change over time, that is why we work with direction and not a final goal. Often our unconscious psyche communicates through images and symbols in dreams, in our bodies, as symptoms and projections.
