What drives the male mind? What are his fears, his unspoken struggles, and his dreams? What does it mean to be a man, and how can masculinity be lived in a healthy way? What are the hidden ‘secrets’ men carry, the expectations placed on them, the influence of the feminine within men’s inner world, and the deep longing for connection?

Jung identified key archetypes that shape male behavior and can act as guides for personal growth and search for meaning.

The Hero: Represents the drive for adventure, success, and overcoming obstacles.

The Father: Symbolizes stability, authority, and guidance.

The Wise Old Man: Embodies wisdom and self-reflection, a goal for mature masculinity.

In my work, I often meet men who feel a profound sense of relief when given the space to express their deepest fears and vulnerabilities. This leads me to wonder: how have we arrived at a societal climate where men feel disconnected from their emotions and unable to engage with deeper questions about meaning and purpose?

This emotional suppression often results in a kind of self-estrangement, leaving them out of touch with their true selves.

How can we, as women, support men in connecting with their feminine traits—such as empathy, creativity, and emotional openness? Can we create a culture where men feel safe to explore their inner worlds without fear or shame? And if we can, what kind of transformation might this bring to society as a whole?

I believe these are critical questions for fostering healthier, more meaningful relationships, not just in personal lives but also in professional environments.

By addressing these issues, we can pave the way for a more balanced and emotionally connected society.
